  1. Researchers
  2. Students

  4. Practitioners who want to be part of the EASP family; access EASP member benefits, stay up to date, get involved and share and learn with others, but who are not yet ready to apply to be listed on HEIR.

Benefits

Associate membership allows access to the benefits of EASP membership without being an approved practitioner listed on the Human Equine Interaction Register. Associate Members receive benefits including access to training, CPD, supervision and opportunities to express their views as the voice of the sector in consultations and at events and share and learn with one another.

Who is this for?
This category of membership is ideal for EAS Practitioners, those who solely provide EAS or riding schools, BHS Centres etc. and Training Organisations who have applied for and been approved against the five standards of the Human Equine Interaction Register (HEIR).

Benefits

The main benefit of being an ‘Approved’ member is being able to use the HEIR Approved kitemark. We have been working with the wider Equestrian and EAS sector and commissioners to make sure that the kitemark has intrinsic value and becomes a recognised symbol of trust and standards.
This work remains our core focus on behalf of our membership.

As an Approved Member, EAS providers will be able to access all EASP members benefits, be able to vote in EASP CIC business, receive a kitemark logo for the current year and use the Register to promote their business as having been assessed and approved.
Approved providers can also access the Members Hub where there is a template letter to send to commissioners to explain that the standards to use the kitemark have been achieved.

The annual fee for Approved Members remain unchanged. Click the appropriate link where you will be asked to complete the HEIR Application form if you are a new Member.
